"What Two Anglers Told Me About Downsizing"

Larry from Virginia, summer of 2025:

Tried out the product. Three weeks after setting it up, he said, “If I had put a Freedom Launcher on my PA 12, I wouldn’t have needed to switch to my Hobie Outback!”

This Monday, June 21, 2026: Had a chat with Ken from Florida, a new customer.

Once he realized he could fit a Freedom Launcher on his Native Slayer 10 LTE, he explained why he switched from his Old Town MK 106. It was too much hassle to install landing gear and load it into his truck without using the gear. Plus, backing his truck into the surf was a pain.

He just found out about the Freedom Launcher and immediately saw how it could make launching and landing a breeze. He wasn't a fan of his current landing gear, which needed him to get in the water to adjust the wheels, and the buoyant wheels were tricky to manage.

Ken was confident that once people discovered how easy it was to use, business would take off.

Over the past year, two different anglers reached out after switching to smaller kayaks. Even though their stories were unique, they both came to the same surprising conclusion: if they had known about the Freedom Launcher earlier, they probably would have stuck with the kayak they originally loved.

This is the situation many anglers face as their bodies "talk back" to them about moving a heavy kayak on land and into the pickup

Our Brand Ambassadors have tried many different solutions and come to the same conclusion: the unique design of the Freedom Launcher makes manuevering the kayak on land SO MUCH easier. As Mike Carter from Lafayette, Louisianna said, "It's effortless (to move on land)". Mike converted from the "other" landing gear system sold by Native.

So, if you are on the fence about what wheel solution to use, give a hard look at the Freedom Launcher.

I'll close with this feedback from Dustin received March 14, 2026:

Here is what Dustin from Missouri had to say about his launcher on a Native Titan X 10.5.

" I parked 150 feet away from ramp and from unloading to pushing it to and down ramp ive never had such an easy experience. Then after being on water for 3 hrs pulling it back up ramp and to my truck was just as easy. I only have a small tacoma with bed extender and the height with wheels deployed theres not much lifting to set on the extender. Just wanted say thanks for such a great product and one best things ive putchased in long time. "

Tight lines! And Stay Safe out there!
